Marousi Vet Clinic — veterinary clinic in Marousi
A neighbourhood veterinary practice in Marousi, in the northern suburbs of Athens, for dogs, cats and small pets. This page is in English; the rest of the site is in Greek.
About the clinic
The practice is run by Δρ. Νίκος Βαρελάς, veterinary surgeon, working alongside Ελένη Στάθη, veterinary assistant. The same vet sees your animal at every visit, so its history stays in one pair of hands.
We see patients by appointment. X-ray, ultrasound and blood analysis are all done in-house, so there is no second trip elsewhere for routine diagnostics.
We will explain what we find, what we suggest and why, in plain language — and we will tell you what a visit costs before we begin.

Travelling within the EU
The order of these steps matters and cannot be changed:
- Microchip first. It must be implanted and registered before the rabies vaccination.
- Rabies vaccination second. A rabies shot given before the microchip is not recognised and has to be repeated.
- Wait 21 days. Counted from the date of vaccination, and completed before you travel.
- EU pet passport. Issued by a veterinarian and carried on every trip.
